Cult brand Proenza Schouler — and one of my personal favourites — just launched their secondary label, PSWL. The acronym stands for “Proenza Schouler White Label”, and is a much more collaborative, and [shall we say] affordable collection. The line focuses on everyday essentials with a fashionable edge, such as jeans, tees and hoodies — like one recently spotted on Selena Gomez.
Proenza shot their launch campaign featuring friend and fashion it-girl, Chloë Sevigny. The line follows the trend of brands like Alexander Wang’s secondary basics label “T by Alexander Wang”, launching a more casual and wearable line.
I have been such a big fan of Proenza Schouler since the launch of their it-bag, the PS1. I have collected a few of their accessories over the years, including a lovely blue suede PS1 I scored in New York on sale at Intermix a few seasons ago!
