On a drive from Cabo San Lucas to Todos Santos, where the famed “Hotel California” exists, I stopped in the middle of the desert to snap this simple look — and the beauty of the cactus forest surrounding me.

I call this look “simple” because, being hot-as-hell in Mexico, the lesser you dress, the better you feel! This hole-poked IRO tee — one of my go-to summer-weather tops for hot weather — was the perfect choice for the day. It’s like GEOX but for the bod 😉

I paired it with vintage-patched Levi’s shorts, and my white Stan Smith’s, which are so fuss-free and look chic with just about anything. I also mustn’t forget the shades I wear non-stop, the Dior Technologic’s, which add a touch of cool to the plainest look.

This moment was a total spur as we drove along the highway through the Baja desert and cliffs. It was populated with miles and miles of cacti — and I truly admire the strange, almost scary beauty of the spiked tree. Also, totally fitting with my hole-poked top, but not to get confused with this having anything to do with a cactus…heheheh!

Hope you enjoyed this look, and location, as some inspiration! It was a short moment but I am so grateful to have stopped to capture this moment on the trip. My full travel diary, featuring the restaurants, spots, and other moments I captured will be going live very soon, so stay tuned.
