Yes, you may be wondering where I have been, and where I am now. Well, I’m back home in Toronto, but am still relishing in the most peaceful and amazing trip I just returned from — Cabo! My father and I took a trip together, just us guys, which turned out to be a totally awesome, yet relaxing time.

Although I am sad to be out of the hot, Mexican sun, baking myself to a crisp, drinking a fresh jalapeño margarita, and just chill-axing, I have some fantastic photos and moments to remember the trip by — and of course, to share with you! This post was shot on the rocky beach, right on location of the hotel I stayed at (The Cape, Thompson Hotel), which I will discuss more about in my upcoming travel diary I have to share. For now, check out this #OOTD styled with the relaxed ocean-vibe at the soul of each piece, for a true Sass & Leather look…

This is the type of look I would gravitate to in spring or summer, as each garment is slightly loose fitting and flowy in shape. Each paired together for the proper outfit to walk along the beach, in effortless style! Of course, I would normally wear a pair of beach shoes or sandals, but I chose my velvet sneakers — which I am completely obsessed with. They add a dressy edge to any outfit, and are the perfect shape and concept.

I made sure that I got down to the beach right around sunset, so we got some beautiful exposure in the naturally-lit shots, as the sun went down. You may have noticed my kimono jacket; it features an upside-down sun/moon and colourful stripes, complementing the beautiful essence of this warm and vibrant dusk.

I hope you liked this outfit as much as I do wearing it. I encourage both men and women to look at unique pieces they may not necessarily wear, and try pairing them — you never know what could turn out. Stay tuned for the full trip diary, and second outfit post in Cabo, coming soon!
