It’s here: SERIES 5 of The Sneaker Tree Sass & Leather!

This lookbook conceptualizes around both of our mesh Adidas kicks, with baseball inspiration in our pieces. We ventured off—and it was only fitting that we shot this edition around the Rogers Centre, where the Jays play in Toronto … cute, I know! Scroll below to see what we wore.

Mel (@thesneakertree) wore a total Adidas look, looking like a baseball cheerleader. Of course, focused around the sneakers themselves, she chose pieces that worked for a unique look! Black and white striped retro Superstar’s, knee-high socks, and matching crop top, came together for a sporty-yet-sexy look. Her shades are by Super, matching in B&W tone, and coincidentally similar branding as her shoes. Plus… abbbbbssssss thoooooooooo!!!

I sported a simplistic look that had a street-meets-baseball concept. I haven’t styled my mesh Stan Smith’s in an outfit yet, and they seemed fitting as Mel wore her own mesh version. It clicked in my mind that the suede baseball top I got last year from the Alexander Wang H&M would pair perfectly for this edition of #thesneakertreeXsassandleather! The shorts, long and wide, are by 3.1 Phillip Lim, and looked great with the blue stripe tab on my kicks — I got them in Paris last summer, and are featured in this look here.

Do we likey? Check out the shoppable links for [most] items below, and stay tuned for SERIES 6, coming SOOOOONTIMES!!! Be sure to follow both Mel and I on Instagram for more sneaker fashion!
