Oh my gosh! I have to say… this was a SERIOUSLY hard pick. The gowns, tuxes, and unique ensembles that star adorned to last night’s Met Gala were not far from incredible. Multiple metallics (mainly thanks to Balmain), white with chunky elements, technology, and odd outfits, all coming together for an amazing showcase of the great talent in fashion at the moment. I chose 20 of some of my fav looks, giving a well rounded feel of what the vibe was on the red carpet last night. Hopefully you enjoyed looking through these amazing designs as much as I did! Nicolas Ghesquiere has brought a fresh element to Louis Vuitton that I would have never expected to develop, and I love it. Both Selena and Grimes (and others in LV) definitely changed the idea of what should be worn to the Met Gala. Lady Gaga and Kendall Jenner looked killer in their very different looks, both by Atelier Versace. I am so into the men’s rocker vibe Gaga is going for lately, and Kendall looks like a Greek Goddess in this gown — #obsessedddddddd!!!!!!

All of the lace and embroidery in the gowns were incredible this year as well. From K Stew in Chanel, HAIM in Rodarte, Nicole Kidman in McQueen, and Zoe Saldana in Dolce, I am in great awe of all these unique looks. Finally, the metallic textures inthe many gowns by Versace, Balmain, and Proenza were very #ManusXMachina styled. Oh, and I cannot forget the outstanding light up gown Mr. Zac Posen designed for Claire Danes, and how it shone on the carpet!

So? What did you think of these choices? I was definitely impressed, as you can probably already tell. There are many other choices I did not include in this blog that I wish I had, as the selection was killer this year overall. Until the next red carpet review…
