You guys, Spring is finally here!!! Literally so excited, I’m beaming!!! I was really lucky to have Saturday off (also, finally) and took huge advantage. Not only did I get to take some gorgeous shots in this fresh look, but I also managed to walk around, like, the whole city. I think I even got some colour #TANszn 🙂
The day started off with a stroll to Chinatown for dumplings, and ended up in Kensington. It was absolutely perfect weather; the ideal weather I look forward to all year. Sunny and warm, with a nice breeze. Easy to wear a sweater or a light jacket and pants. I sported a pair of leather jeans, which somehow weren’t too warm, and perfectly complemented the weather!
Kensington Market, known for its cute vintage shops, cannabis culture, random boutiques, and amazing little food spots, was bustling! There were people everywhere, embracing the first day of amazing Spring weather. My friend Sasha and I bonded over some froyo and sunshine vibes. It was definitely a fun day!
For this look, I started off with a simple, statement piece: this amazing jacket that I found at Tokio 7 consignment in New York. I kid you not, when I found this gem in a rack filled with other second-hand designer goodies, I thought I had struck gold. It’s unmarked, aside from a small “Made In Italy” tag (reminds me of the one Prada uses) and a Margiela-esque unmarked stitched denim tag inside. The coat itself evokes a rare Jean Paul Gaultier feel; it could very well be a one-off sample. Regardless, it’s a treasure in my closet, and I can’t go anywhere without people’s eyes locked on it!
The look, focused around the jacket, was kept simple overall. With a thrashed grey IRO sweater, matching turtledove Yeezy 350’s, leather Rag & Bone cuffed boyfriend’s, and silver Dior Technologic’s, I thought this was a killer outfit. Not tryna brag or nuthin, tho 😉
Have you been outside enjoying the AMAZING Spring weather yet?!?!?! Can’t wait to explore some more!
