Long time no post (I think this is the longest I haven’t been active on my blog for…!!!) Hi friends, readers, and fans, so so so so sorry for not posting on here!!! I guess working full time has not given me any free time in creating content for Sass & Leather, which is unfortunate because I have had so much that I wanted to post these last few weeks and still have not gotten around to it…

Last week I was in Montreal for my cousin’s wedding, and on some free time around, I went shopping in Old Montreal (I did an outfit post there last summer, but this one is much more fun, don’t worry). I love the area – it has a very vintage, old feel as it is one of the oldest areas still intact in the city of Montreal, reminding me of SoHo in NYC. The area is floored with cobblestone streets, decorated with quaint, old buildings, but is injected with new and hip boutiques and restaurants. There are some great high end shops and local designer showrooms in the area, which are always nice to shop around when visiting!

For now, please enjoy my latest outfit post, which has a very laid back vibe, with shredded jeans, light sneakers, and an edgy snake-printed top. It was absolutely, disgustingly humid that day, so I tried to keep the look as simple, and easy as possible, while still looking Sass & Leather-approved 😉 …Enjoy!

These jeans happen to be my current summer obsession. I have yet to blog about them, but I have worn them like 2 dozen times since I bought them (that’s a lot for me), as they miraculously pair with just about anything! I feel very Kanye West in them; totally something he would wear. They are actually also a pair of women’s boyfriend jeans, but by Rag & Bone, a brand favourite of mine. They fit me so perfectly, so I don’t mind that they are not technically from the men’s collection!

And the bag that I’m carrying is my new-to-me Fendi Peekaboo, with the cute Fendi-inspired monster! I have been eyeing this bag for a while (yes, I love every bag, we know) and I spotted this one online. What made me really feel that it was special and unique was that the lining is actually patchwork denim, which I thought was the coolest thing ever!!! I have a slight denim addiction, so it definitely pairs well with any pair of jeans I’ve got, but also just speaks to me as a beautiful and special bag – especially since it was my birthday gift to myself 🙂

And these shoes were of course a part of my birthday wish list (click here to see it), whom my sister happen to gift for my birthday! I have been wearing them almost every day since I received them 3 weeks ago; they are super fun, no?

This summer is definitely going to be filled with tons of new fashion posts; hopefully more than ever before! New things are soon happening on the blog as well, including a collaboration between myself and 34 Heritage Denim, which I am currently working on to launch this coming week. So look forward to all new and great things, coming soon on Sass & Leather!

Until then…
