Hey readers and friends. How is your May going? Mine has been so busy and weird in many ways…I can’t believe my birthday is on Monday, it doesn’t feel like it’s that close! The weather right now is also really weird. One week it’s boiling hot and summer weather (hence this lookbook), but right now it’s cold, and it has been rainy 😦 But it’s fine by me, because I like fall weather too – as most of you already know. But let’s get into the latest, summery #ootd post!

The sun was beaming and it was sooooo hot when my girl Ari and I took these awesome shots. I sported a long and loose fitting shirt on top of baggy, major-ripped-knee jeans. It was super easy, and I just amped up the look by throwing on a nice belt, cool sandals, and of course a fresh bag situation.

I’ve done a lookbook with this Prada bag before, but minus 3 of the charms I added on. It’s such a great, bold colour, but I find it so plain as it’s such a large piece of leather, and nothing else. So I added to the look with a robot Prada charm, an old Marc Jacobs charm I’ve had for 4 years, and a Kenzo pouch – seamlessly matching the bag!

The jeans are surprisingly from – could you guess it – the women’s section in Zara! I was shopping with a friend and spotted these, which I had a mental idea of, and found them in person. They were such a great price (only $50), and happened to fit me better than my friend (yes, she is a girl)! Oversized, baggy, “boyfriend” jeans are perfect for any summer look, and many guys can definitely find a pair at stores like H&M, Topman, Zara, and others.

Oh ya, the shirt is also from Brandy Melville, a women’s store. It’s a one size fits all, super long and baggy shirt in a men’s cut, so I knew it would be perfect. Not to mention, it’s major soft, reminding me of one of Alexander Wang’s “T” shirts, that retail for over $100 (this was like $25). The moral of this S&L story is DON’T BE AFRAID TO SHOP IN THE WOMEN’S SECTION – you don’t know what you’re missing.

This is the type of look I’ll be living in throughout the next months. I like everything easy and effortless, with distressing and edge. Oh, and add a couple chill accessories and a nice bag, and we’re good to go. Did you like? 🙂
