Ya, I know, I’m late, don’t get your panties in a bunch. But I thoroughly studied my favourite runway website Style.com for 25 of the CHICEST LOOKS on the runway this season. I reviewed some of the top designers of the moment, some of my fashion favs, and some of the latest breakouts in luxury. Without further ado, here are the top 25 looks, chosen by moi, organized (I did my best) by category.
I know the Armani outfit may not exactly be considered “monochrome” as it has colour, but it is pretty much white on black, okay?! Otherwise, these looks will be #MAJOR fresh for Fall/Winter of next year. My top look has to be the all white Kenzo look, with those sick textured black booties. We’re off to a good start so far, right?
I love a good print, especially when it’s by any of these 3 designers. The leopard Cavalli look is definitely a signature for his label, and he killed it, as always. Both of the python jackets by Miu Miu, and Barbara Bui (loving her label!!!), are killer; the Miu Miu one reminds me of the one Kimmie K recently wore too…hmm…
Fur & Shearling Perfection
As you may have noticed on NY & London FW runways, furs and shearlings were (as always) #key for the season. I definitely loved the playfulness with colour in fur, and the contrast-refresher in some of the shearlings…and the pairing of reversed shearling with the suede Peek A Boo bag by Fendi, cute right?! And does Gigi Hadid not look TO DIE FOR in that Sonia Rykiel coat? I’m dying.
Playful Blue Textures
It was alllllll about the blues, with pizzaz, on runways this season. Gold, sequins, motifs, gems, [and of course a bold print blending all of these elements in one of Hermès’ classic scarf-outfits] made for some pretty funky-chic looks. I’m all about the glam look for the Fall!
And special appearances on the Valentino runway made by…
Although not one of these dark looks are exactly the same as the other, they all embody the “dark-chic” concept. Playing with different silhouettes, textures, fabrications (leather, wool, chiffon), and more, all of these designers made for great staple looks that will be popular next FW season. I love the easy & sexy combo done by Margiela; the elongated & angled sweater by Stella McCartney; the side-zip leather pants by Saint Laurent; and of course the classic embroidered cocoon sweater done by Balenciaga.
What were your fav looks on the runways this season? I also did a total review on NYFW and LFW recently, so if you haven’t seen my picks there, check it out right now (click here)!!!! Keep posted for my top bags on the runways this season, coming out soooooo soon too, because you all know how much I love bags.
Get ready for more coming your way!
