Amidst fall menswear collection shows, as well as the near finale of pre-fall womenswear shows, I have compiled some of the top trends and looks from 25 different designers’ look books & runways! There were a bunch of classic, and fun trends I found when looking through some of the many top designers’ collections, and it was hard to choose the best (as always). Pre-fall-job-well-done, I must say! 🙂

I love the three different styles crafted in bright white fabric, being a nice transition colour from summer to fall! Stella McCartney’s pairing of the interestingly cut two-piece sweater dress and chunky Oxford’s made for a great look as well.
Not only do all of these coats look ultra comfy and chic, but the neutral, nude-shade coat seems like it’s going to be [yet again] a big trend for the coming fall season. Yet, it seems it will transform into a bolder, fuzzier edition – Balenciaga definitely nailed that concept.
Funky looks from both of these labels, showcased well by two models in each shot! Who doesn’t like a classic boho-hippie look, especially around fall? Just add a fringe bag, and we just may be in business.
Bright colours are never out of style, so why not transition them between the seasons in pre-fall? This Philipp Plein lavender fur bomber is to die for, and I want the Prabal Gurung sweater!
Metallics are always a great piece in the fall season, or all year round for that matter. I love the implementation of metallic colour in both of these coats, which bring a pop to each model’s overall outfit!
Armani kills the look, Roksanda brings fun into a classic suit, and Gucci, as always, brings the 70s vibe into their beautiful and simple looks. I also love Gucci’s take on the “classic flap” bag; hopefully this will become a new classic it-bag!
Furry and Fierce
Three unique looks all falling in a similar category. Fendi’s furry monster has become an insignia for the brand, and they keep popping out classic looks based around the symbol! Of course Vera Wang’s fur coat worn as a top looks très sexy. And need we even comment on Versace? #FIERCE
Detailed Short Dresses
My favourite has to be the Mugler dress, adorned with open grommets. It adds some edge and sex appeal to a simple, tight dress. Barbara Bui’s boldly printed dress also has to be a fun and elegant piece, as it drapes as if it’s a scarf, and the suddle pattern play in Mary Katrantzou’s piece creates a cool illusion to the eyes.
Intricate [and Transparent] Gowns
We see more and more of the see-through gowns lately on red carpets, and in designer look books, but I think the implementation of intricate sewing in the McQueen, and the crystals in this gorgeous Valentino gown were both outstanding. I’m in love!
