Just this afternoon I had the pleasure of attending the 2nd annual Blogger Bazaar closet sale, held at the members-only Soho House downtown. It was a fun event where I met some of Toronto’s own fashion bloggers, who were cleaning out their wardrobes for the summer season.
Fans and fashionista’s alike came to the bazaar to purchase bloggers’ treasures, which now can now be made better use of and appreciated by new owners. Not only was it a great idea for a closet cleanout, but the event was also held to donate a portion of proceeds to The Corsage Project, a wonderful organization.
Shopping around, there were a ton of really cute, vintage and designer finds, as well as unique pieces from local, as well as foreign designers. There were tons of cool sneakers, and trendy heels by brands such as YSL, Gucci, Louboutin, and so many more.
Bags by Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs, scarves by Hermès, tons of funky designer and costume jewellery, and the list went on. The stuff was sold by women, meaning it was mostly, if not all women’s, but I still lucked out and found 2 cool items!
I met some really sweet bloggers at the event as well, so it was great putting Sass & Leather out there to some other fellow Toronto-creatives! They were all super cool, and I hope to meet them all again sometime soon!
And of course, I went for some lunch with my fav (and only) momma after, around the corner at Momofuku for some ramen #yum! It was super delish, and so was the crack pie I ate at the Milk bar après #doubleyum!
What did you do this sunny Sunday afternoon?
