Finally in the snowy place I call home, Toronto, warmer weather is starting to surface from the long and horrid winter we Canadians know here. And with warmer weather comes brighter, colourful and more exciting attire to wear!

Now of course everyone gets excited about bright, fun colours for Spring in their wardrobes, but lately there is a new trend that has hit the fashion scene: funky coloured sneakers!

I’m personally dying over Chanel’s take on the sneaker. Mixing vivid and pastel colours, as well as classic leather and signature tweed, Chanel has really upped their game on the interesting articles they have to offer. They have offered sneakers in past collections, but their current season’s kicks are really unique with new details, like sparkly ribbon laces (#LOVE)

Dior also has introduced a fab take on sneakers in their RTW collections for Spring & Summer! They have even blended two shoe worlds together: the heel and the sneaker. With a weird take on the work out wear, Dior has implemented a quirky and unique design into their latest pair of heels.

Almost 2 years ago now, I decided to buy a pair of Nike Free Run 2’s in bright neon colours for working out. Having not really used them much in the past, I’m especially excited about the new trend sweeping the fashion scene.

I have gotten super excited about breaking them out this spring and can’t wait to pair them with tons of outfits. I have never appreciated owning a pair of crazy coloured sneakers as much as I do now!
